UW undergraduate/graduate student
After submitting the on-line form for UW students at https://www.engr.washington.edu/epp/nano/, you will receive an add code to register through MYUW for MSE 498 if you are an undergraduate, or MSE599 if you are a graduate student for Fabrication and Characterization of Nanomaterials in January. (Credit information for Nanoclusters, Nanomaterials, and Nanotechnology in May will be available later.) No additional course fees will apply if you have undergraduate status and are registered for 10 to 18 credits total, or if you are a graduate student registered for 7 to 18 credits total. Otherwise regular course credit fees apply.
An add code is required for these courses and will be available in early December.

Non-UW/WSU student registering for credit at home institution*
You may attend the course and register for an appropriate special topics course at your home institution. You are responsible for arranging credit at your institution. Select "Student not seeking credit-Fee: $0" when completing our registration form.
Nonmatriculated student registering for UW credit*
You may attend the course and register for credit as a nonmatriculated student at UW. You are responsible for verifying that your home institution will accept these credits. These credits cannot be used toward a UW graduate degree. Select "Nonmatriculated student registering for UW undergraduate credit in MSE 498 - Fee: $182" or "Nonmatriculated student registering for UW graduate credit in MSE 599 - Fee: $182" when completing the registration form. We will then contact you to obtain the appropriate information. (Note: You must register for this option prior to course start, you are responsible for verifying that your home institution will accept these credits prior to course start, and confirmation of credit enrollment cannot be sent prior to course start.)
Student not seeking credit*
You may register without seeking credit. Select "Student not seeking credit-Fee: $0" when completing our registration form.
University faculty or staff*
University staff and faculty are welcome to register. Select "University faculty or staff member-Fee: $0" when completing the registration form.
Professional
Professionals are invited to participate in this course. Select "Professional in the field-Fee: $1,000" when registering. You will be issued a professional certificate awarding Continuing Education Units for your participation.
*If you register but do not attend the course, you will be charged a $50 fee; credit card information required below (credit card will not be charged if you attend the course).
